Sandown House

If we could give Liz & Andy 10 stars for hospitality, we would! So gracious & accommodating and focused on every detail to make our stay perfect. For us, we would have liked to be a little closer to town but taxi service was great & Liz made all the arrangements. The townspeople were also very welcoming. We would stay there again.

Very nice stay at the Sandown House, the house was very nice and the location was perfect, close the sea area and with easy access to Inverness. Our host Simon was very cared a lot for our good accomodations and provide very nice recommendations

We can't thank Liz and Andy enough for their kind hospitality! They really made it such a special experience for us and welcomed us like friends and guests instead of just "customers". We are so grateful for all of your help, advice, thoughtfulness, and of course, the delicious breakfasts! Your place is so perfectly put together! Modern, comfortable, clean, stylish, and spacious. Thank you for being such a key part of making this trip a fantastic experience for us!

Liz and Andy have created a perfect get away spot. They were very gracious, welcoming and helpfull. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and equipped for all our needs, including a large full bathroom. The location is very quiet and only a five minute walk to the ocean. Only a 20 minute walk into Nairn. Within a 40 miniute drive there are numerous excellent golf courses including Nairn which we couldn't play this time because of a competition. However for value you cannot beat the Nairn Dunbar course. You could stay for a couple of weeks and not play the same course twice. Saving the best for last, the quality and the selection provided for breakfast far exceeded any expectations we might of had. We would book in just for the food. We only stayed three nights but next time we would book for longer.

The hosts Liz and Andy were friendly, very helpful on recommendations, and provided first class stylish accommodations and tasty and locally grown, fresh, homemade food for breakfast. The hosts attended to every detail and more. Our room was large. We slept in a very comfortable king size bed. The room also had a sofa, a fridge, iron, ironing board, dresser, and reasonably sized television. The location is perfect and the best part, it is very quiet and near the beach. The area in which it is situated is very quaint. Walking in the area is very pleasant and relaxing. You will not be disappointed with the hosts and the accommodations. We will definitely be returning.

Liz was the most gracious host. She made us feel welcome the minute we got to Sandown House. Breakfast was made to order and simply delicious, especially the soda bread that was made fresh everyday. At night it's an easy stroll to the beach via public paths through the golf course. Such a beautiful spot. Easily the best place we stayed during our 10 day trip through Scotland. Highly recommend.

Wonderful B&B in Nairn - I would highly recommend it! Liz is a lovely host, the rooms are nicely decorated, well equipped and clean. The breakfast is amazing - all fresh and local ingredients. Location for beach and golf course is perfect! We would love to come back again, Thanks Liz!

This place my husband and I stayed for 2 nights, it honestly was absolutely gorgeous. The homemade breakfast was to die for!!!! Our room was super comfy with gorgeous decor and an enormous bathroom. We will definitely return.
